Right now, my Nest Learning Thermostat Gen3 works fine without the C wire. However, I can clearly see what I believe to be a C wire wrapped around the conduit line. So I unwrap it, I strip it, and I get 24v from the black (C wire) to any other wires.I check 24v from Red (Rc/Rh) to any other wire. However, from Red (Rc/Rh) to Black (C), I get 0 ....

Installed new 3rd gen Nest, with yellow wire to Y1, green wire to G, Red wire to Rc, White wire to W.
